The original bluestone structure was established in the 1870s, and rebuilt in the 1920s after fire destroyed part of the original Homestead, an invitation to stay at Mount William Station was highly sought after. Positioned at the foothills of the majestic Grampians National Park, the Homestead welcomed dignitaries and hosted many social gatherings becoming a spectacular backdrop to many great stories in Victoria’s rich pastoral history.
